1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TwoLanes mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TwoLanes ("we," "us," or "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
TwoLanes is a mobile application designed to facilitate meaningful conversations during road trips and other activities. The App provides curated questions across various categories and relationship types to help users connect and discover more about each other.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration
Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. In-App Purchases
5.1 Payment and Billing
The App offers various in-app purchases, including:
- 72-Hour Full Access: Temporary unlock of all content for 72 hours
- Lifetime Unlock: Permanent access to all content
- Family Bundle: Permanent access for up to 4 family members
All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By making a purchase, you agree to their respective terms and conditions.
5.2 Refunds
Refunds are handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly process refunds. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact the respective app store's support.
5.3 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change prices for our products at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.
6. Family Sharing
The Family Bundle allows sharing of purchased content with family members. By using Family Sharing:
- The purchaser ("Family Owner") is responsible for managing family membership
- Family members must be added through the App's invite system
- Maximum of 4 family members (including the owner) can share one Family Bundle
- Family sharing is intended for genuine family members only
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
8. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content (including but not limited to questions, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software) are owned by TwoLanes and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
9. User-Generated Content
While the App primarily provides curated content, any content you may create or submit through the App remains yours. However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
- The results of using the App will meet your requirements
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TWOLANES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any content or conduct of any third party on the App
- Any conversations or interactions that occur as a result of using the App
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TwoLanes and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TwoLanes is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration authority.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TwoLanes regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
17. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
